Love is something that we all crave whether we admit it or not. Love manifests itself in many different ways, acceptance from coworkers, an invite to go play putt putt with your small group, having acquaintances attend your retirement party. A lot of times we crave that love from those closest to us.
Where are you going with this you ask? I am glad you asked!
GOD is love! There are false ideas out there that because God is love that He could not possible send anyone to Hell. This is the way I thought for short while. So I padded my “spiritual” life with this false idea. God began to chip away at the very fabric of this ideology. He brought one person at a time to speak Truth to me. Sometimes I didn’t like it and sometimes I tolerated it. But every time I would reflect on these conversations.
One of those people told me that God is love but He is also “Just”. I did not want to hear this but once I left the conversation I reflected. They told me that Jesus died for my.sins. The”sins” I didn’t think I had. He did this for the whole world:
John 3:16 For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.
1 Corinthians 15:3+4 For I delivered to you first of all that which I also received: that Christ died for our sins according to the Scriptures, and that He was buried, and that He rose again the third day according to the Scriptures,
