We are well into our Discipleship Training here in Jamaica. Lives are being changed one truth at a time. We have had some speed bumps along but God has been faithful. Last night we talked about confessing sin and accepting Gods forgiveness. Sometimes people say “I accept Gods forgiveness but I can not forgive myself”.
I have a question, are we God? Answer: we are not God. Who are we too not forgive ourselves when God forgives us. We are not smarter then God. So please leave the past in the past. Confess to God and leave it at the cross and walk away free.
1 John 1:9
If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.
If you have anything you can’t let go. Do yourself a favor, put it on a piece a paper and then either burn it or shreds it up and throw it away. This is symbolic but powerful.
