CHRISTmas is coming!

Well by now you are well into the hustle and bustle of the Holiday season. So many parties and dinners to attend that your head is spinning.
Maybe this writing has come at the perfect time for you. Maybe it will give you an excuse to breath. Remembering that Christ is the reason for the season helps slow it down for me.
I remember the very first Christmas after I made Jesus Lord of my life. It had new meaning for me. Like so many of you I grew up hearing the story of Mary, Joseph and Jesus ( Luke 1) but not knowing the story. There is a difference between hearing about something and know about something. I can hear about the car accident down the road but it is entirely different than being in the car accident. I now felt like I was part of the Christmas story not just hearing about it. instead of gifts from family and friends being the star of Christmas they were and are just the supporting cast. It is the gift of eternal life that I am unwrapping everyday that is the Star.
So, if for some reason you are not unwrapping the gift that is eternal life I challenge you to make Jesus your priority everyday.
