Ok, ever since I have followed Jesus I have prayed for patience. I figure that God will at some point require it from me. So I pray for patience regularly.
I had a debate with a friend of mine on this subject. He is convinced that if we ask for patience that God with require us to use it. So he refuses to pray for it. His thinking is that, if he doesn’t ask for it God won’t require it of him.
Of course I disagree!
In Galatians 5:22 says that patience is just one fruit of the Spirit. I know that God will give it if we ask. I also pray for the other fruits as well.
So I would like to ask you:
Do you or don’t you pray for patience?

But let’s get back to the original post.
Praying for patience, I had never really gave it a thought before because I have always been a very impatient person, but I had assumed God made me this way, but after reading your post maybe I do need to pray for patience?
I’m not perfect, I never have claimed to be, we all have flaws and our loving Father knows this because, after all, he created us and he loves us just as imperfect as we may be.
