I can tell you that this scripture gives me great joy and comfort. Not only because He, is the author and finisher of my faith. He is also the author and finisher of my life.
Submitting to Jesus Christ allows me to be free to live my life. Not in an abandoned reckless way. But, for the most part a worry and care free life.
In light of the recent passing of a young Kobe Bryant. We see that no matter how much money or influence we have in this world we have an appointed time. Knowing Jesus and putting our lives in his hands allows us to live.
